We go every year for "Mardi Gras." It is tons of fun. We left at 12 on Fri. and got to Pickneyville, Illinios at around 8 (hour earlier there.) We left Sunday morning at around 9 (10 here) and got home at around 7:30.
While we were there we stayed with my dads brothers. He has three girls...Haley, Hillary, and Holly, who were all there too, along with my Aunt Barb. It was tons of fun to stay with them... which we do every year. Some of my other family were there too... my cousins... my aunts and uncles... and other cousins..lol! It was so much fun to see them again. My mom and I couldn't go last year because of "the Young Americans," so it was good to see all of them after two years.
Saturday... we went downtown and hung out where all of the stands and all of the yummy food where... then that night was the big "Mardi Gras" parade. I got tons of beads and yummy candy. My two cousins were in the parade too, Haley and Hillary. So, it was fun to watch them. They did great!!!
